Handelsbanken is a Danish bank based in Erichsens Palæ, founded in 1873.1 Its website says: “We are a bank with a decentralised way of working and a strong local presence. Formed in 1871 and today, one of the world's strongest banks.”3 It was founded by David Baruch Adler.1 It ceased to exist in 1990.1
