Hofseth BioCare is a Norwegian marine food producer based in Ålesund Municipality, founded in 2009.¹ Its website says: “Hofseth BioCare (HBC) is a fully integrated salmon business, devoted to enhancing human nutrition and wellbeing in the most natural, sustainable way. Our naturally-safe ingredients deliver pure nutritional performance and clinically-proven health benefits, while conserving the delicate ecological balance.”⁴ It employed 82 people in 2026.¹
