Meissen Manufactory is a manufacturer of porcelain goods from 1710 based in Meissen.1 Its website says: “MEISSEN is more than just fine tableware - it is a piece of history. Our products are created through the exceptional craftsmanship of skilled porcelain painters, designers and manufacturers, who undergo years of training to bring you the best quality.”5 It was founded by Augustus II the Strong.1
