Misr Petroleum is an Egyptian petroleum products marketing company based in Cairo, founded in 1911.1 It is part of Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation.1
مصر للبترول هي شركة حكومية مصرية، وإحدى شركات قطاع البترول المصري، والتي تأسست لكي تكون كبرى شركات تسويق المنتجات البترولية في مصر، حيث تقوم بتسويق ونقل المنتجات البترولية وفقا للحصص التي تقررها الهيئة المصرية العامة للبترول، تعتبر الشركة أقدم شركة بترولية في مصر، حيث تمارس نشاطها منذ عام 1911 وكانت تعرف حين ذاك باسم شركة شل مصر المحدودة، حتى قام الرئيس المصري جمال عبد الناصر بتأميمها وتحويلها إلى القطاع العام في عام 1964 تحت اسمها الحالى كإحدى الشركات الوطنية.2 From the Arabic Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0
