Nordic Yards is a German shipbuilding company based in Wismar, founded in 2009.1 Its website says: “Nordic Yards is your perfect business partner for all the phases in a project. We offer you system solutions from a single source, and also tailor-made solutions for your sub-projects.”4

Nordic Yards ist der Name eines deutschen Unternehmens. Es betrieb unter diesem Namen von 2009 bis 2016 eine Werftengruppe in Deutschland. Neben dem Schiffbau war Nordic Yards auch Hersteller und Entwickler maritimer Konstruktionen – zum Beispiel für den Offshore-Bereich. Zur Werftengruppe Nordic Yards mit Sitz in Wismar gehörten die Tochtergesellschaften Nordic Yards Wismar, Nordic Yards Warnemünde und Nordic Yards Stralsund. 2016 wurde mit der Gruppe Genting Hong Kong ein Investor gefunden, der die drei Werftstandorte in Wismar, Rostock und Stralsund als MV Werften übernahm.2 From the German Wikipedia, CC BY-SA 4.0
