Platypus Designs is an American mail-order sewing pattern company founded by Colette Wolff in 1969.1 Its website says: “Original sewing patterns from Platypus Designs by fiber artist Colette Wolff. Fabric dolls, soft sculpture toys, and quilts designed from 1969 through the 1990s — available for purchase.”2 It ceased to exist in 1995.1
