SP Group is a Danish plastics company based in Søndersø, founded in 1962.1 Its website says: “SP Group develops and manufactures plastic and composite components, combining specialist technologies with an international network of production companies.”4

SP Group A/S er en dansk plastvirksomhed, der producerer formstøbte emner i plast og komposit samt udfører overfladebelægning på plast- og metalemner. Virksomheden blev i 1962 etableret i Aalborg, som en maling- og lakproducent, under navnet A/S Hygæa. I år 2000 skiftede selskabet navn til SP Group. I 2002 flyttede SP Group deres hovedkvarter til Søndersø på Fyn. SP Group har talrige datterselskaber, hvilke bl.a. inkluderer: SP Moulding, SP Medical, SP Meditec, SP Tinby, Ergomat, Idé-Pro, SP Gibo, TPI-Polytechniek, MM Composite, Plexx AS, Opido AB, Nycopac, Kodan Plast og MedicoPack. Virksomheden har 2.351 ansatte. Deres årsomsætning var i 2024 på 2,9 mia. kroner.
