Die Stahlwerk Thüringen GmbH (SWT) ist ein Unternehmen mit Sitz in Unterwellenborn, das zurückgeht auf die im 19. Jahrhundert gegründete Maxhütte. Nach der Schließung des Stahl- und Walzwerkes 1992 und Modernisierung von 1992 bis 1995 wurde 1995 an dem Standort das heutige Elektrostahlwerk mit Stranggussanlage für Profile gegründet.
