Theaterkunst is a German costume company, Aryanized under Nazis, based in Berlin, founded in 1907.1 It was founded by Hermann J. Kaufmann.1

Die Theaterkunst GmbH ist das größte Kostümhaus Deutschlands. Das in Berlin ansässige, 1907 gegründete Unternehmen spezialisierte sich anfangs auf die Ausstattung von Theatern, Opern und Revuen. Ab 1919 wurden auch Filmproduktionen ausgestattet.
