Civil Judicial Action PendingAbout an affiliate: Sekinger, Jeffrey, ronaldSanctions: Money Damages (Private/Civil Complaint) · Begun Oct 24, 2024

A former employee of another company that I own, which is not involved in the securities industry, pleaded guilty to orchestrating a ponzi scheme. See addabbo VS bossetti, no. 24 CV 008197. I was not charged in connection with the ponzi scheme by the prosecutors, and I cooperated with their investigation and provided them all relevant documentation. I have not been charged civilly by any regulator in connection with the ponzi scheme. Neither I nor my company received any funds from ponzi scheme investments, made any payments to investors in connection with the ponzi scheme, or received any commissions, compensation or other financial benefit from the ponzi scheme whatsoever. Nevertheless, we have been sued by investors in the ponzi scheme in two separate civil actions pending in Ohio state court. The allegations in those cases, generally speaking, are that my company and I are responsible for investment losses for various reasons, including negligent supervision and as a de- facto partnership. I have denied all liability in the matter, because I was not involved in the ponzi scheme.
