His text-message service SuperSMS and advertising exchange TextLink appeared in the 2002 JuniorWeb competition. That year, he began developing the web-hosting service SuperHosting.cz, later known as SH.cz, and a server-housing service called DataCamp.cz.
Cendra founded CDN77 in 2011, and it began operating in 2012 with an eight-person team. Its servers deliver video and other online content to users around the world. In 2013, he co-founded Peering.cz, a commercial internet exchange that competed with NIX.CZ.
In 2014, Cendra launched 10Gbps.io, a dedicated-server service aimed at customers in Western Europe and the United States. The service expanded to data centres in Amsterdam, Chicago and Los Angeles in 2015.
Forbes Česko included him in its 30 under 30 list in 2016.
In 2024, Cendra invested in Langtail, which helps developers add AI features to their applications. The company raised €1 million in that funding round. The Langtail team later launched Macaly, which lets people build web applications using AI. Several months later, the Belgian company team.blue bought Macaly.
CDN77 expanded beyond the Czech market and had Rakuten, TikTok and the European Space Agency among its customers in 2025. Forbes Česko reported that the company gained customers after US competitors left the market.
CDN77 reported revenue of CZK 4.5 billion for 2025. It employed about 190 people in early 2026. After growing without outside equity investment, CDN77 announced in September 2026 that CVC would acquire a minority stake. Cendra was to remain its majority owner and CEO. As of September 2026, the deal still required regulatory approval.
Forbes placed Cendra on its 2026 list of the wealthiest Czechs, estimating his wealth at CZK 37.3 billion.

Property investments
By 2020, Cendra had begun buying residential property in Prague. In 2024, Czech Television reported complaints about renovations and disrupted services at two buildings bought by his companies. His lawyer said Cendra did not manage the buildings personally but sought to address problems.
One of Cendra's companies also co-owned a Prague villa, where a dispute arose over which floors each owner could use. The parties entered mediation in 2025, and Cendra later transferred ownership of the company, which held half the villa, to another person.
